Let it Ride Poker is a great poker variation
that is easy to learn, especially if you are familiar with community
card poker games. The object of the game is to make the best
possible poker hand out of a combination of three hole cards and two
community cards. A very unique aspect of Let It Ride Poker is that
you are playing neither against the other players nor against the
dealer. The object is to simply get a winning poker hand. To begin
the game, each player makes three equal bets and places them on the
clearly marked areas on the playing table. Once all wagers have been
made, the dealer deals three cards face down to all players and to
him or herself. The dealer immediately discards one of the three
cards dealt in front of him and the cards remaining are the
community cards that can be used by all players. This is the time in
the game that you have your first opportunity to recall one of your
3 bets. If you look at your hand and decide that its not good enough
to risk 3 bets on, you may ask for your 3rd bet back, or you can Let
It Ride and continue to the next part of the game. The dealer now
flips over one of the community cards and you have yet another
chance to either recall a bet or Let It Ride. After all players have
made their decisions, the second community card is shown. At this
point, all players use the community cards and their hole cards to
create their best possible poker hand, of at least a pair of tens.
Payouts depend completely on your wagers and the payouts shown on
the payout table of the game.
